Multi-Channel Home Theater

The TP160C center channel completes any multi-channel home theater with exceptional response and dynamic handling. Its inventive features and advanced voicing characteristics blend with other DCM components to fulfill the expectations of cinematic soundtracks and vocals. And with a wide frequency response and dispersion can be a nice addition for pure music listening.

Along with an even sound dispersion, this crucial piece of the surround system produces enveloping sound. The TP160C includes a Kevlar driver tuned with a passive radiator to ensure bass response is exact and powerful. And, like the entire Time Piece series, it includes a silk dome tweeter complete with copper shorting ring to produce accurate high frequencies.

Center Channel Performance

The TP160C-CH is a center channel speaker featuring a 6.5" active and 6.5" passive radiator woofers with Kevlar cones and a 25mm Teteron tweeter. The combination of these materials ensures accurate sound across all frequencies ensuring the richest and fullest reproduction of your favorite music and movies. This speaker is capable of handling 100-watts RMS power and it has an 8Ω impedance so it can easily be connected to any stereo or multi-channel AV receivers in the market today.

Speaker wire connections are made on the rear of the cabinet using chrome plated, 5-way binding posts that ensure a solid connection of speaker wire to speaker terminal. The internally braced medium density fiberboard (MDF) enclosure construction reduces resonance and enables the speaker to produce deep realistic sounding bass, especially from a bookshelf speaker. The unit is finished in cherry and is backed by DCM's 10 year limited warranty.
