MTX is pleased to present our consumer advertising campaign for 2003. To help drive our branding efforts, we are running a series of ads in a variety of publications, from the core car audio enthusiast books, to the sport compact and truck magazines. We are presenting a more lifestyle-oriented ad featuring the breadth of MTX products (under the headline "Stock Sucks") as well as a ThunderForm ad for trucks/SUV’s message.

Another ad we've developed that has been running in consumer magazines is the “Take Notice” message announcing coming head-to-head ads that will hit the stands soon. The very first of the head-to-head comparisons will begin on June 23rd comparing the MTX9500 subwoofer against the JL W7.

It is quite obvious from the spec by spec comparison that the Thunder9500 truly “smokes” the W7. We are already in the process of replacing JL woofers with Thunder9500 in some very high profile installations. As these installations are complete, we will post them on our web site. And the JLW7 vs. Thunder9500 comparison is the first of many more to come. Audio fans around the world will see the facts that prove the superiority of MTX products.

A sneak peek at the creative is attached, along with the media where you will see the new consumer messages from MTX. Click for more info...

What the people are saying: (edited for length and grammar)

"I have two of these 12s (Thunder4000) in a sealed enclosure and they sound great... Most entry-level subs don't sound good, but these do...They play very tight for 12's...I would recommed people to buy these subs for good bass at a good price..." as posted on sounddomain.com by ii3ghrmike.

"I have a 1989 Ford mustang hatchback. I was looking around for some subwoofers that don't distort and pound pretty well because I'm kinda on a budget. So I went to Circuit City and saw that MTX came out with this RoadThunder (RT12-04) subwoofer. So I went ahead and bought four of these...and they POUND VERY VERY HARD. So I would recommend these subs to anybody who is on a budget and wants Good POUNDING BASS. Thanks." as posted on sounddomain.com by pimps917.

"These subs hit nice (Thunder600)... I have 2 of these on an 801d amp. You can hear me comin' from like 10 miles away." as posted on sounddomain.com by bernzlude.

"I've always liked MTX subs, and the Thunder 6000 10" is no exception. I have a '91 Geo Tracker, which is acoustically horrible, but this lil' MTX gave my system the kick in the rear it needs. Great punchy bass in a sealed box (never heard one in a ported...) ...it's great for rock and metalheads like myself. Bass is very tight and accurate. I'm actually overpowering this sub, but it's still working great. It's 250W RMS, and I'm sending it 330RMS..., but it seems to like the extra power... Overall a good buy, especially for the price..." as posted on sounddomain.com by nitrofish420.

"I have a 2000 Toyota Prerunner with 2 of the brand new 8000 12's bought in May 2003 in a custom built (by me) ported box ronning off of the new 501d amp.My subs BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG with that little 14-inch long amp on them because it is a perfect match. The leads are new and improved to permit high excursion on the new 8000's, so no problem there. The bass is VERY tight, clean and accurate (although veeeerrrry loud for 2 12's). They look great too! There is not any boom or overshoot at high volumes, and as with all MTX's they are always staying cool. For the thunder 8000, there IS NO BETTER SUB FOR THE MONEY...MTX knows what's up! MTX all the way!!!!!!" as posted on sounddomain.com by highrize.

"This is by far the best subwoofer I have heard. the response is tight. The looks are great...Highly recommend." as posted on sounddomain.com by phatillac.

"I am very satisfied MTX 10" sub. It is definitely worth its price...if you want a nice crisp sound, enough to get few nods, then this is your sub. The box it is mounted on is very light and compact..." as posted on sounddomain.com by mirage97ls.

"I have this amp and two 12in Thunder8000's and my system hits so hard that it rattles the windows of people's homes a block away. If you like to drive with your windows down and your system up like I do, you will be getting a few visites form the police. You can count on it." as posted on sounddomain.com by passout.

"I have this thing (Thunder 801D) on 2 12" MTX 6000s and good God is it loud. The footprint of this amp is very small and is easy to work with. Very good buy!" as posted on sounddomain.com by bernzlude.

"Thanx for producing a nice piece of car HiFi equipment (T410), which gives me a lot of pleasure!" Bero A

"I am really impressed by the sound quality that MTX puts out at low or even extreme volume levels. MTX is the best! I will never go to a another product ever again. Thank you for making me the car audio fan that I am today." Terry E.
