MTX Audio announced today, April 8, 2004 that it is shipping the Thunder8500 Superwoofer to retail stores throughout the world.
Available in 15", 12" and 10" models that are all capable of handling between 500 to 600 watts RMS, these woofers are able to deliver enormous bass because of their die cast aluminum frame, solid steel pole piece, aluminum voice coil, aluminum shorting ring, and 7 pound magnet- close to fifty pounds of guts to back up those sizzling good looks.

Matt Buyten - IFMA's First Half Points Leader
Buyten Now Achieving Success After an Injury Plagued Career
AURORA, Ill. (April 2, 2004) - The first half of the 2004 IFMA Freestyle Motocross Presented by XM Satellite Radio season came to a close this past weekend as 2001 IFMA Champion Dustin Miller and 2003 IFMA Co-Rookie of the Year Matt Buyten split wins in Milwaukee, Wis.
Buyten can relax in the off season with the overall IFMA points lead heading into the summer/fall season. Buyten and Beau Bamburg both with 10 wins in the first half of the season are set for a showdown when the second half of the season starts back in August.

MTX'S TEAM THUNDERFORCE TAKES IT ALL AT DAYTONA
MTX's ThunderForce didn't cut any slack this year at Spring Break Nationals in Daytona. Taking home several trophies and a world record title, Team ThunderForce came out booming with the best and left its competitors in the dust.
ThunderForce's William Collier made enough noise with his orange competition van to secure the first place and the world record title in the Super Street 1-2 No Wall class with a 159.9. His win is no surprise considering his track record including many NOPI wins and world championship title at 2003 IASCA.

MTX WARRANTY DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES
EXPAND JOB DESCRIPTION
These days, the people who work in MTX's subwoofer warranty department have taken to waiting by the curb for the UPS man. They have high hopes that one day soon, the truck will pull up containing a subwoofer for them to fix. Why? Because MTX's new lines of Superwoofers and Performance woofers are so well-made that they aren't being returned for repair. As a result, warranty department employees are cross-training on other jobs.
