MTX THUNDER SUPERWOOFERS DELIVER BIGGEST BADDEST BOLDEST BASS
Not since the unveiling of MTX's flagship Superwoofer, the Thunder9500, has there been this much excitement about bass. MTX is proud to present its newest additions to the Superwoofer family, the Thunder8500 and Thunder7500 subwoofers. These two new woofers function as the 'better' (T8500) and the 'good' (T7500) in the "Best, Better, Good" approach that MTX is taking with its new product lines.
Weighing in at close to 50 lbs, the T8500 is available in 15", 12" and 10" models that are all capable of handling between 500 to 600 watts RMS. These woofers are able to deliver enormous bass because of their die cast aluminum frame, solid steel pole piece, aluminum voice coil, aluminum shorting ring, and 7 pound magnet.

What the people are saying:
(edited for length and grammar)
"I owned 2 MTX amps while in Alaska and had a kick'n system in a big 4x4 and loved offroading. One day while fording a river with my system blasting I bottomed out in the middle. Everything was fine until I opened my door and the truck flooded with 10 inches of river with my amps under the seats. To my amazement they didn't cut off even being under water. Yes, the amps played fully submerged . I'll never own another brand of amp. Thank you." as posted by Martin C.
"My 9500s are seriously wicked! I have six [9500s] and six 942s. I can't wait to put them in! I'm just getting all the wiring in order but when they hit I am expecting a pretty good number so watch out for me and my ALERO!" as posted by Anthony G
"I have two 10 inch MTX Road Thunder subs in a box and they are by far the best subs that I have heard." as posted by Josh A.
"I have had my trusty Blue Thunder 10s for over five years and I just wanted to drop you guys a line and tell you that they still are hitting harder than ever. MTX makes the best products that last forever if you just treat your subs right. Thanks for making a great product." as posted by Mark R.
"Thanks for all the help and no hassle with your customer service. I love MTX... A couple of my friends and I don't buy any thing else when it comes to car audio. I look foward to more new products to come so that I can improve my SPL level. Thanks again-- Adam." as posted by Adam R.
"The subs I purchased are working to a level that I could only dream about. I never thought I would have the bass quality that I've obtained." as posted by Timothy E.
"I bought your Thunder 9500 12 inch sub, with Sledge Hammer box, MTX 564 amp for the speakers, and the MTX 801D for the sub, and everything is f---ing sick. You guys make sick products." as posted by John S.
"I have 15" 9500s each in their own box. The box is 3.5 cubic feet total... The boxes meet with the ports side by side firing through the middle of the seats. With the amp rack on top, I have essentially walled off the truck...Dude, the increase in sound and bass is unbelievable. You can literally feel the difference. I put a volt meter on the amp after about 20 min of testing and my amp tested out at 1348 watts per speaker peak and 1250 watts RMS. Just absolutely pounding the hell out of my Ranger and any listeners near by. They don't miss a beat at all. We were in the bay at Norton Stereo in Augusta and he said that when I turned up the volume, something in the walls was literally shaking and vibrating. He's never had an install do that before, nor have I. I've shaken his display counters when in the bay before, but the bass was never like it was with this install. And the funny thing is the 9500's haven't reached ANYWHERE near peak excursion. They are barely moving and putting out this must bass. I'm absolutely thrilled with these woofers. Wish I had room for two more!... These are just SPL beasts! I look to have it on a meter soon. AND THIS IS JUST WITH THE DAILY DRIVING BOXES. I haven't even finished the port on the competition box yet!!!!" as posted by Carlton P.
